Yes, I do believe religion does have a future and meaning in the 21st century. Atheism is fundamentally empty. Innately , in mankind is a cogniscence of the existence of something greater than himself, creator, if you will. Prior to the Age of Reason, when man learned to test everything by logic and rationality, the evidence of God was clearly seen in the heavens and the earth. Since, that time an ever growing spirit of rationality has taken foothold. The problem with rationality is that it is limited by the finite mind and even more restrained by such a very small knowledge of the world and universe wherein it dwells. Therefore, any conclusions it draws by reason, is sorely limited and likely not justifable enough to conclude against the innately understanding by finding itself in the creation and by the same reasoning able to justify a creator, i.e. God. Thus, the whole embattled arguments both pro and against "God" will not likely lead one to an absolute provable conclusion. That is why whether you are Atheistic or not, you still live by a faith in what you believe. If you don't believe in God, it is not because there is no evidence, because there is plenty of evidence for those who wish to accept by faith the existence of God. Excluding the evidence of some, does not amount to sufficent reason to dismiss evidence. So, one tends to believe in or by faith accept their is a God or their isn't . Either way, its generally , a matter of faith in what they choose to believe.

People often assume atheism means the absence of religion. I am a Buddhist and so this is obviusly not the case. The rational mind is limited. But is can give a pointer to the vast open Mind that is actually who we really are. There is no need for a creator or created. We have always existed and we will always continue to exist. Our bodies may be limited but our Minds are not. There is no beginning or end to this wheel of life. It is a new paradigm.

There is no need for a creator or created.
Unless the Word of God is True and you have to stand before Him?
Consider His mercy and grace!
God Bless
